Bill

Bill

I am Bo Dan with NEMAA. I am a local police officer in my 18th year of service. I joined NEMAA in April of 2010. I was invited to join the leadership team once I earned the rank of green belt.Growing up, I had a deep desire to study martial arts. As a teenager, I dabbled in martial arts studying Washin-Ryu and Aikido but stopped along the way, never reaching my full potential or understanding the true meaning of martial arts.As the years passed, I began to get the itch and felt a strong desire to train again. I joined NEMAA to train with my son, William. As my training progressed, however, I began to understand the true meaning of martial arts and I took the teachings and knowledge of Master Barron to heart. And the rest, as they say, is history! As a sign of respect, I have started to pass along the knowledge I gained from Master Barron to his students. I currently teach the Monday night (white belt to advanced orange belt) junior class.I also recently began to study the art of Kung-Fu.
